Trio-binned reference assemblies for two Clarkia xantiana subspecies
We’re using trio-binning (long-read sequencing of F1 hybrids together with short-read data from both parents) to build reference-quality, fully phased genome assemblies for the two subspecies of Clarkia xantiana. The resulting references will underpin our work on contemporary adaptation, range limits, and the genetic architecture of fitness — and will be a community resource for the broader Clarkia research community.
